Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes has said that his team "stood up" to the physical challenge of Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena last night.
The Bavarian outfit booked their place in the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal with a 1-0 victory, courtesy of Arjen Robben's first-half strike.
Heynckes believes that his team showed their quality against tough opposition.
"We played well, aggressively, and we stood up to an opponent who played aggressively against us," Heynckes told ARD.
"It is a sign of quality that my team wins these matches."
Bayern lost to Dortmund in the final of last year's competition.
