Arjen Robben will start for Bayern Munich against Borussia Dortmund in the DFB Pokal on Wednesday as Franck Ribery is suspended.

Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has revealed that winger Arjen Robben will start in place of Franck Ribery against Borussia Dortmund in the DFB Pokal quarter-final on Wednesday.

Ribery is suspended for the clash, while Robben scored for the Bavarian giants in their 6-1 home win against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

"There's no need to make a secret of it," Heynckes told Bayern's official website. "Provided he stays fit and trains as normal tomorrow, he'll obviously start on Wednesday."

Robben was rested from training on Monday.
