Sebastian Rode: 'Bayern Munich will not be complacent'

Sebastian Rode insists that Bayern Munich will not become complacent when they visit the struggling Hannover on Saturday.

Sebastian Rode has urged Bayern Munich not to lose focus ahead of their Bundesliga clash with Hannover on Saturday afternoon.

Bayern are on course for another Bundesliga title thanks to an eight-point advantage at the top of the table, and with the second leg of their Champions League tie against Shakhtar Donetsk taking place on Wednesday, Pep Guardiola could decide to rest a number of key players for the meeting with Tayfun Korkut's side.

However, Rode insists that Bayern will not allow complacency to become an issue against a side which has not recorded a victory in 2015.

"It's going to be tough," Rode told the club's website. "They are in a bad run of form at the moment but have lots of quality in their ranks. We need to concentrate throughout the game and give it our all.

"Pep makes sure we're prepared properly for every game. He analyses everything and then we work on it in training. His intensity and dedication has rubbed off on me."

Bayern have scored 20 goals in their previous four games in the Bundesliga.
