Bayern Munich have reportedly identified Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly as a potential target ahead of the summer window.
With major changes expected in defence at the end of the season, Bayern have already agreed a deal to sign RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano.
However, Tuttomercatoweb suggests that the 2020 Champions League winners are looking to make a second big-name addition in that area of the pitch.
The report claims that Bayern want to sign Koulibaly for just €45m (£38.85m), significantly lower than Napoli's asking price for the Senegal international.
Both clubs may have to agree to a compromise, particularly Napoli, who are unlikely to attract any offers in the region of £80m due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.
Koulibaly, who turns 30 in the summer, also has just over two years remaining on his contract.
