Richard Hamsik has said that his son Marek Hamsik will consider leaving Napoli should he not receive an improved contract during the summer.
The Slovakian international has previously stated that he wants to remain in Naples, despite interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, but his father has suggested that he may look to depart the Serie A side should they not offer the midfielder a more lucrative deal.
The Sun quotes Hamsik as saying: "Marek always says that Napoli is the club he loves and wants to end his career in blue, but he is not still sure it will happen. We expect a richer contract.
"If there is the will to value Marek as he deserves will remain in Naples, otherwise we will think of other offers."
Bayern Munich have been credited with an interest in the 28-year-old, while a number of Premier League teams would likely bid for the midfielder should he become available.
