Birmingham City bring in trio at St Andrew's

Birmingham City announce that they have completed the signings of David Edgar, Wes Thomas and Gavin Gunning.

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has added another three players to his first-team squad at St Andrew's.

Clark has already secured deals for Jonathan Grounds, Stephen Gleeson and Grant Hall, and the Blues boss has wasted little time in making three more acquisitions.

Defender David Edgar, who was released by Burnley, has signed on a free transfer while Dundee United defender Gavin Gunning has agreed to make the move south to link up with the Championship club.

Striker Wes Thomas, who played 11 times for Birmingham during a loan spell in 2013, has also signed a contract after leaving Rotherham United.
