Blackpool have completed a deal to sign former Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger on a free transfer.
The 23-year-old penned a one-year deal with the Tangerines, with the option of a further 12 months, and will be available for the club's local derby with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
Ranger rose to prominence after graduating to Newcastle's first team via the youth ranks, but found regular playing time at a premium.
After loan spells with Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday, the forward joined Swindon Town last summer.
However, despite netting 10 goals in 28 games for the Robins, Ranger was released by the League One side in May.
