Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: 'Marco Reus is like a brother'

Borussia Dortmund attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reveals that teammate Marco Reus is 'like his brother' when the two play football together.

Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that teammate Marco Reus is 'like a brother' to him when they play football together.

The Gabon international is helping Dortmund's resurgence, scoring the opening goal in their 3-2 win over Stuggart in the Bundesliga.

Reus scored the winning goal to seal their third victory in a row in the league, and Aubameyang has praised his close relationship with the German winger.

"The interaction with Marco Reus is very good. We understand each other very well, both on and off the pitch. If we get along privately, then that affects things on the pitch. We're almost like brothers," the 25-year-old said, according to Goal.com.

"The most important thing is the three points we are taking away. We have won three in a row, it's finally getting better. The goal we conceded, of course, was something stupid but it's great and very important that we won.

"I have the full confidence of the coach and that's extremely important to me. I feel like he relies on me. Equally important is that I can act as a striker up front. I get the right balls there to be a goal threat."

Dortmund's next test is in the Champions League, when they come up against Andrea Pirlo's Juventus.
