Borussia Monchengladbach winger Patrick Herrmann has admitted that his side must show signs of improvement if they are to qualify for Europe.

Gladbach dropped to seventh after their 2-0 defeat to Stuttgart at the weekend, and Herrmann wants his teammates to show their quality in Friday night's clash with Augsburg.

"We have to do better in a number of areas," he told Bundesliga.com. "We need to give our all for the full 90 minutes, stand firm and show our quality."

The match kicks off at 7.30pm.
