Half-Time Report: Bournemouth on top against Millwall

Goals from Steve Cook and Brett Pitman give Bournemouth a 2-0 half-time lead over Millwall.

High-flying Bournemouth hold a comfortable 2-0 lead over Millwall at half time despite playing without their top goal-scorer Callum Wilson.

Steve Cook headed Brett Pitman's corner narrowly wide of David Forde's goal on nine minutes, before Matt Ritchie sent a fierce 30-yard effort just wide.

Yann Kermorgant then sent a header over the top on 20 minutes, but two minutes later Cook made amends for his earlier miss when he powered a header beyond Forde at the back post to put the Cherries ahead.

Bournemouth doubled their lead just three minutes later when Pitman latched on to Ritchie's clever pass and slotted the ball calmly beyond Forde.
