Bournemouth's Callum Wilson eyeing England call-up after notching hat-trick

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is hopeful that he can maintain the form from his hat-trick against West Ham United to earn an England call-up.

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson has revealed that he is hopeful he can continue to find the net for his side to earn a call-up to the England squad.

Wilson opened his account in the Premier League when he netted a hat-trick in the Cherries' 4-3 victory over West Ham United.

The 23-year-old made his debut for the England Under-21s last season and has now set his sights on making his full international debut in the near future.

Wilson told reporters: "Playing in the Under-21s has given me a taste for it and I want more one day.

"But I'll just keep working hard and focus on playing football and those sort of things take care of themselves."

The striker joined Bournemouth last season from Coventry City.
