Lewis Grabban: 'Norwich City matched my Premier League ambitions'

Norwich City striker Lewis Grabban reveals that he "did not want to turn down" a move to the club due its size and the attacking philiosophy of manager Neil Adams.

Lewis Grabban has revealed that he joined Norwich City because the club 'matched his ambitions' of playing in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old striker, who impressed at Bournemouth in the Championship last season, was unveiled as the Canaries' first signing of the summer last week following their relegation from the top flight.

"It's important when a settled player moves on that they don't go into a team that uses a completely different style, because it just might not work," Grabban told the Bournemouth Echo.

"I think Eddie Howe is getting it right and the manager at Norwich has similar philosophies - he wants to play attacking, passing football and dominate possession.

"I liked that aspect of what he wanted to do and the club's ambitions matched my ambitions to get to the Premier League. The opportunity to go to a club of that size was one I did not want to turn down."

Grabban scored 22 goals in the Championship last season, following on from his 13-goal campaign the previous year in League One.
