Eddie Howe: 'Ryan Allsop could go out on loan'

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe reveals that goalkeeper Ryan Allsop could be sent out on loan during the 2014-15 season.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has revealed that he may send Ryan Allsop out on loan during the 2014-15 Championship season.

The goalkeeper played in the first 12 games last season, but was dropped after being sent off against Leeds United in October.

Howe told the Bournemouth Daily Echo: "We have a really strong team of goalkeepers who will hopefully push each other on to better displays.

"Lee [Camp] played the majority of games but Ryan was always pushing him and Darryl [Flahavan] helped with Ryan's development.

"At some stage, I might have to juggle the goalkeeping department to try to get Ryan games because, at his age, he needs to be playing regularly as well. Depending on how things go during pre-season, I would probably look to get Ryan out for his own development."

The 22-year-old joined Bournemouth from Leyton Orient in January 2013.
