Juan Iturbe rejects Watford, joining Bournemouth

Roma striker Juan Iturbe is reportedly close to joining Watford, having previously been on the verge of signing for Watford.

Bournemouth are reportedly close to securing the loan services of Roma forward Juan Iturbe.

Recent reports claimed that the 22-year-old had arrived in London to undergo a medical ahead of a switch to Watford.

However, according to numerous outlets this afternoon, the Hornets have been gazumped by their Premier League counterparts.

It is believed that the Cherries have agreed to pay a £1.1m loan fee for the Argentine, with an option to buy him at the end of the season for £16m.

Further speculation has suggested that Watford were not prepared to go beyond £13m.
