Diego Simeone praises Chelsea

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone praises the strength of Chelsea's squad.

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has said that he was impressed by Chelsea's 2-0 win over Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho made a number of changes to his starting XI at Anfield ahead of the Champions League semi-final second leg against Atletico this week.

However, goals from Demba Ba and Willian secured all the points for the London outfit.

"It is clear Chelsea has a huge team because they won despite making a lot of changes," Simeone told reporters at a press conference.

"That means we are going to play against a powerful team, something we knew. So they will make a lot of problems for us next Wednesday."

Chelsea and Atletico are currently level at 0-0 from the first leg last week.
