Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has reportedly been ruled out of action for the foreseeable future after sustaining a hamstring injury on international duty.
Kante was forced off during the first half of France's win over Bulgaria last weekend, and it was soon suggested that the 26-year-old would be absent from Chelsea's Premier League clash at Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
However, according to The Telegraph, Kante could miss Chelsea's next six fixtures, which includes their double-header with Roma in the Champions League.
The Blues are scheduled to play half-a-dozen matches during the rest of October, with Manchester United to follow at Stamford Bridge on the first weekend in November.
Kante had been an ever-present in the top flight this season, but the former Leicester City man faces the possibility of missing at least three league games in the coming weeks.
