Tammy Abraham has admitted that it was "motivating" to hear praise from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte while he is currently on loan at Bristol City.
The England Under-21 international has scored 13 goals in all competitions during his time with the Robins, and he has acknowledged that words from the Italian have helped his performances this season.
The 19-year-old told Squawka: "It was good [to hear], obviously it's a massive thing to happen and it's important to have that support behind you, knowing that people are taking recognition of your game and how you're playing.
"It was really motivating for me hearing such praise and it gives me the confidence to go out there and perform on the pitch.
"In the summer [Conte] was giving me advice, what he wanted me to do on the pitch and where to position myself so it was mainly little things like that really."
Abraham has been tipped to feature in Conte's first-team squad at Stamford Bridge next season.
