Daniel Sturridge may be forced to leave Chelsea as the club have reportedly delayed talks over a new deal.
The 22-year-old, who has two years left on his current deal, has attracted interest from a number of rival clubs following the Blues' decision to put back contract negotiations, according to the Daily Mail.
The forward previously admitted that he was unhappy playing as a winger under Andre Villas-Boas and would prefer a more advanced role up front for the former Premier League champions.
Sturridge was asked to return to Stamford Bridge last summer following a loan stint with Bolton Wanderers.
