Winger Eden Hazard acknowledges that it "feels good" to be praised for his recent performances for Chelsea and Belgium.

Winger Eden Hazard has suggested that he will not get carried away by recent praise for his performances.

Hazard starred for Belgium as his country reached the World Cup semi-finals in the summer, while the playmaker has already netted six goals in seven appearances for Chelsea this season.

The 27-year-old is starting to be considered in the same bracket as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and the attacker has acknowledged that he is happy to have impressed in recent months.

Hazard is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "It is good. I try to do what I can do when I am on the pitch. I am the same player as two years ago, three years ago.

"At the moment, I am just scoring goals, so that is why everyone is talking for me to be in the top three. It is a pleasure to be there. I just want to keep going."

Hazard - who has less than two years remaining on his contract - has been linked with a future move to Real Madrid.
