Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard admits that he does enjoy the limelight, as long as it is for the right reasons.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has admitted that he enjoys being in the limelight, as long as it is for the right reasons.

The Belgian international caused controversy last month when he appeared to kick a ball boy who was preventing him from getting the ball.

He apologised for the incident and wants to move on, and be recognised for doing positive things.

"That obviously wasn't a good incident," Hazard told the Daily Mail. "But hopefully it is in the past.

"If I am being totally honest, yes [I do enjoy the limelight]. Every player loves to see his name in the headlines. 'Hazard has just done this!'

"You're totally aware that it's a team sport and it's all about the group, but it's nice to feature in the sports headlines."

Hazard and Chelsea are currently preparing to face Manchester City at 1.30pm today.
