Luiz: Lampard isn't special

Chelsea defender David Luiz thinks that Frank Lampard needs to stop questioning Andre Villas-Boas's decisions.

David Luiz believes that Frank Lampard should be treated the same as every player at Chelsea because no individual is more "privileged" than any other at Stamford Bridge.

It has been widely speculated that the England international has had a rocky relationship with Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas.

Despite Lampard being dropped from the first team on a number of occasions by the Portuguese coach, Luiz has claimed that the 33-year-old midfielder should respect Villas-Boas's orders.

"No-one has to be someone's father or son in a football club," Luiz told O Jogo. "There are no privileged people in the club.

"[Lampard] simply has to listen to the coach when he gives orders and take them. No player can forget that they are just an employee of the club."

Meanwhile, Chelsea continue to fight for fourth place with an away fixture against West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
