Michael Owen takes to Twitter to express his disappointment following Stoke City's last-gasp defeat at Chelsea.

Michael Owen has expressed his disappointment following Stoke City's 1-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea.

The former England striker, who made a substitute appearance in the game, said via Twitter that he expected his team to come away from Stamford Bridge with a draw.

"Gutted with the result today. Thought we were going to get a point. The lads played well. Roll on next week," he wrote on the miroblogging site.

A rare goal from Ashley Cole in the 85th minute gave Chelsea all three points and maintained their position at the top of the Premier League table.
