Claudio Ranieri has suggested that he expects Chelsea to be successful after Antonio Conte was named as their new manager.
Conte has been given responsibility for making rapid improvements at Stamford Bridge after their 10th-place finish in the Premier League last season, and former Blues boss Ranieri feels that the West Londoners have made the correct appointment.
The Leicester City manager told Gazzetta dello Sport: "Antonio and Chelsea are made for each other.
"They must know each other well and not let themselves be sidelined by the inevitable cultural differences, but we shall see an Italian model at Chelsea."
Ranieri won 107 of his 199 games in charge of Chelsea between 2000 and 2004.
