Terry left out of squad?

Reports suggest that John Terry could be left out of England's Euro 2012 squad following a meeting with Roy Hodgson.

Roy Hodgson has reportedly met with both Rio Ferdinand and John Terry on Tuesday to reveal that only one of the players will be in England's Euro 2012 squad.

Speculation has suggested that one of the players will miss out due to the impending court case against Terry regarding the alleged racial abuse of Rio's brother Anton.

ESPN have reported that Hodgson waited until the day before the scheduled squad announcement in an attempt to explore every option available to him.

Doubts remain over Gary Cahill's fitness ahead of this summer's tournament but Hodgson has reportedly informed Ferdinand and Terry that one player will miss the competition.

Ferdinand is rumoured to be against linking up with Terry for England duty and odds were slashed last week regarding the Chelsea defender being included in Hodgson's squad.
