AC Milan are reportedly set to rival Barcelona for the signature of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.
The 30-year-old has scored 29 goals and registered nine assists in his 205 appearances for Chelsea, but his future at Stamford Bridge appears to be uncertain.
Despite recently claiming he was "very happy" at the club, Jorginho has not yet agreed a new deal with the Blues, and his current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, with Barcelona believed to be interested in signing the midfielder.
According to the Daily Mail, AC Milan are also considering a move for Jorginho, who previously played in Serie A for Napoli and Hellas Verona.
While Barcelona will have to reduce their wage bill to complete the signing, they are hoping to persuade the Italy international to take up a fresh challenge in La Liga.
However, AC Milan could benefit from the less aggressive tax system in Italy, which could allow them to make Jorginho a desirable offer.
