AC Milan have reportedly decided to press ahead with their efforts to complete a permanent deal for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The Frenchman endured a difficult start to life at San Siro, and it initially appeared unlikely that Milan would consider taking up their option of signing the player on a full-time basis for €35m (£30.31m).
However, Bakayoko has impressed since the start of 2019, and according to Calciomercato, the Italian side are ready to wrap up the transfer.
The report suggests that Milan may attempt to negotiate a deal with Chelsea, rather than pay the current fee for a player who has no future at Stamford Bridge.
Bakayoko still has over three years remaining on his contract with the Premier League outfit.
