Aston Villa have announced that they have completed the season-long loan signing of Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham.
The 20-year-old has trained with the first-team squad this summer having spent the last campaign with Swansea City, and the academy graduate found himself as third choice behind Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.
However, Chelsea have decided to allow the England international to spend the season in the Championship with Villa in order to gain regular first-team football.
Villa boss Steve Bruce had previously acknowledged that he would be keen to secure the signature of Abraham, who has previously enjoyed a productive spell at the second tier with Bristol City.
Abraham will return to Chelsea at the end of his spell in the West Midlands with four years still remaining on his contract.
