Chelsea still want Willian to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge despite agreeing a deal for Hakim Ziyech, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly still keen to reach an agreement with Willian over a new contract despite announcing that Hakim Ziyech will join the club from Ajax at the end of the season.

Ziyech, who has scored eight times and contributed 21 assists in 30 appearances at club level this term, will move to Stamford Bridge during this summer's transfer window.

However, according to The Independent, Chelsea are still determined to agree a new contract with Willian as the Brazil international enters the final few months of his current deal.

The 31-year-old is allegedly looking for a three-year extension at Stamford Bridge while Chelsea are only offering an additional 12 months, but both sides are confident that a compromise will be found in the coming weeks.

Juventus and Barcelona have both been linked with moves for the South American, who has contributed five goals and five assists in 31 appearances for Frank Lampard's side during the 2019-20 campaign.

Chelsea will be looking to strengthen their grip on fourth position in the Premier League table when they welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
