Chelsea are reportedly willing to allow Timo Werner to leave the club on loan this summer, with the Germany international keen to increase his playing time.

Chelsea are reportedly prepared to allow Timo Werner to leave on loan in the current transfer window.

After falling out of favour with Thomas Tuchel and scoring just four goals last season, Werner has been linked with a move away this summer.

The Germany international has previously indicated that he would consider leaving in a bid to enjoy more playing time, with the likes of Juventus, RB Leipzig and Newcastle United credited with showing an interest.

Despite Tuchel previously expressing a desire to keep Werner, Chelsea are reportedly considering a loan exit for the striker.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are prepared to offload Werner on a loan deal, which could also include an option to buy.

The report suggests Newcastle are yet to open talks with the player, while a deal is still a long way from being completed with either Juventus or Leipzig.
