Crystal Palace have reportedly set their sights on signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, who spent last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
The 21-year-old's loan switch to the Hawthorns was his third loan move in two seasons, after spending spells in the Championship with Charlton Athletic and Swansea City during the 2019-20 campaign.
In his debut Premier League season with the Baggies, Gallagher scored two goals and provided as many assists in 30 appearances, but with West Brom's relegation to the Championship, he will be looking for top-flight football next season.
According to football.london, Gallagher is unlikely to remain with Chelsea upon his return to the club this summer, and he could seek Premier League football with a move across London to Selhurst Park.
It is reported that Steve Parish is lining up a £15m bid for the youngster, and the Palace chairman hopes that their pursuit of Frank Lampard to be the next manager for the Eagles can be linked with getting a deal for Gallagher over the line.
The England Under-17 World Cup winner joined Chelsea at the age of eight but is yet to make his senior debut for the club despite signing a new five-year deal last summer.
