Olivier Giroud is reportedly unhappy with Inter Milan after failing to seal an exit from Chelsea during the January transfer window.
The France international had been widely tipped to depart Stamford Bridge last month after struggling for minutes under Frank Lampard this term.
Tottenham and Lazio were linked with the 33-year-old, but Inter were always considered the favourites to land his signature.
According to RMC Sport, the Nerazzurri agreed a deal with Chelsea in December, only to pull the plug towards the end of the window as they instead looked to strengthen other areas of their squad.
The French outlet quotes a source close to Giroud as saying: "Inter Milan's attitude towards Olivier Giroud has been very disrespectful.
"We've made a player who's behaving in an exemplary fashion and who had given priority to Inter Milan."
Chelsea also missed out on bringing in a new striker after failing to complete deals for Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani and Napoli's Dries Mertens.
