Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has poured cold water on suggestions that he is interested in signing Dynamo Kiev attacker Andriy Yarmolenko.
It was reported that Mourinho's visit to Ukraine last week was a scouting mission, with Yarmolenko the subject of the Portuguese's trip to watch Ukraine welcome Spain for a Euro 2016 qualifier.
Yarmolenko signed a new long-term contract at Dynamo last week, but it is understood that the extension was with a view to the Ukrainian side protecting his transfer value.
Mourinho, however, has insisted that he was not in Ukraine to watch the 25-year-old wide forward.
"Of course I wasn't looking at [other] players. We cannot make a collection of wingers," Mourinho told reporters.
Since breaking into the Dynamo Kiev first team in 2007, Yarmolenko has scored more than 100 goals for the Ukrainian outfit.
