Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly keen for Chelsea to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer.
Pochettino, who has agreed terms to become Chelsea's new head coach, is set to take over the reins from interim boss Frank Lampard at the end of the season.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss is already believed to be in London to finalise the deal and outline his plans for the 2023-24 campaign.
After spending over £600m over the course of the last two transfer windows, Chelsea will look to trim their squad this summer.
However, they are still prepared to back Pochettino in the transfer market, and one of the areas that is likely to be strengthened is the club's goalkeeping department.

With one of Edouard Mendy or Kepa Arrizabalaga set to be sold this summer, Chelsea are looking to sign a new number one.
Onana has been identified as a potential target, and The Mirror are reporting that Pochettino has given his blessing for Chelsea to pursue a transfer for the Inter goalkeeper.
Prising the 27-year-old away from the Italian giants could prove difficult, though, with his contract set to run until June 2027.
According to InterLive, Chelsea are looking to persuade Inter to part ways with Onana by offering a player in return.

The Blues have unsuccessfully put forward Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Trevoh Chalobah and Mendy as potential candidates for a swap deal.
The report claims that Chelsea have now offered Mateo Kovacic, who made 97 appearances for Inter during a two-year spell with the club between 2013 and 2015.
With Kovacic set to enter the final 12 months of his contract, there is uncertainty surrounding his future at Stamford Bridge.
However, it remains to be seen whether Inter will be tempted to bring the Croatia international back to the club or keep hold of their first-choice goalkeeper.
Onana has kept eight clean sheets in 12 Champions League appearances this season, helping his side progress to next month's final where they will face Manchester City.
