Fernando Torres set for shock Chelsea return?

Former Blues striker Fernando Torres is rumoured to be on the verge of an unlikely return to Chelsea.

Fernando Torres could be set for a shock return to Stamford Bridge in January as AC Milan are considering terminating his loan deal, according to reports.

The 30-year-old joined Filippo Inzaghi's side on a two-year loan deal in the summer, but has scored only one goal in 10 Serie A appearances.

Inzaghi has grown so frustrated with the Spaniard's performances that he is ready to end the loan deal and begin the search for a replacement, reports The Express.

However, with the Blues having added Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Didier Drogba to their ranks, the likelihood is that should Torres return, Chelsea will seek to find another club willing to take him on loan.
