AC Milan manager Filippo Inzaghi has admitted that his side were not clinical enough in their 1-0 defeat against Genoa.
The Rossoneri lost their third Serie A game of the season thanks to Luca Antonelli's goal, but Inzaghi felt that they had created enough opportunities to claim the points.
"If we had taken the lead, and we had the chances in front of Perin, it would've been a completely different game," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.
"Genoa were dangerous on corners, which we knew, but we paid yet again for a naive mistake on a set play. I thought we had a very good first half and just didn't make the most of our chances.
"After the break we tried everything and got a bit too stretched out, but didn't get the equaliser. Unfortunately at that moment when we need to make that step up, we are still lacking something."
Milan are currently seventh in the Serie A table.
