Florent Malouda has emerged as a reported transfer target of West Bromwich Albion.
The 33-year-old became a free agent earlier this summer following his release from Premier League outfit Chelsea.
He failed to make an appearance for the Blues last season, but West Brom manager Steve Clarke is still keen to make the French international part of his squad, according to The Mirror.
Malodua signed on at Stamford Bridge back in 2007 from Lyon for a reported £13.5m.
It is believed that Clarke has turned his attention to the winger upon learning that his original target, Scott Sinclair, is now close to joining Newcastle United.
