Newly promoted Criciuma seek to build on their second Brasileiro victory when they host table-topping Botafogo at Estadio Heriberto Hulse on Saturday.

The hosts head into the gameweek 11 clash on the back of a 2-1 triumph at Atletico Goianiense, while Fogo were held at home by Athletico Paranaense.

We say: Criciuma 1-2 Botafogo

While Criciuma held high-flying Bahia 2-2 in their last home match, the home side's defensive weakness in front of their supporters allied with Botafogo's expertise on the road should see the visiting side notch maximum points on Saturday.

Gremio vs. Internacional (Saturday, 9.30pm)

A pair of Porto Alegre-based sides will face off on Saturday in the Brasileiro Serie A when Gremio host Internacional at Couto Pereira Stadium.

A 4-0 defeat versus Fortaleza has the former two-time top-flight champions second from the bottom, while Clube do Povo are ninth following a 1-0 victory over Corinthians.

We say: Gremio 1-0 Internacional

There is still plenty of time for Gremio to turn things around, and we expect them to be a lot sharper defensively against a side that are struggling to get results away from home this season.

Cuiaba vs. Atletico GO (Saturday, 10.30pm)

In-form Cuiaba leapfrogged Atletico Goianiense after the previous Brasileiro round, and they hope to consolidate in Saturday's gameweek 11 match at Arena Pantanal.

Petit's men have notched consecutive league triumphs without conceding, and they seek a third straight win over their opponents who have struggled for consistency since returning to the top flight.

We say: Cuiaba 1-0 Atletico Goianiense

While surprises are part and parcel of the game, Saturday's game between Cuiaba and Atletico should go according to form.

Petit's men are in high spirits following their upswing after a dispiriting start, while Ventura's side have oscillated between good and bad in their opening 10 games. Thus, backing the hosts for a marginal home success seems the best bet for the gameweek 11 clash.

Vasco da Gama seek to put their wretched Brasileiro form behind them in Saturday night's gameweek 11 encounter with Sao Paulo at Sao Januario.

The hosts have not won a league game in over a month, but they hope to end that run against a side experiencing a mini wobble after three matches without success.

While Sao Paulo have struggled for goals and results recently, they should muster enough chances to nick one against a Vasco side with the leakiest rearguard in the Brasileiro, thus seeing the away side extend their undefeated run against their opponents to six matches in all competitions.
