Tony Pulis rues lack of Crystal Palace luck at Wigan Athletic

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis claims that his side were unfortunate to exit the FA Cup at the hands of Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has claimed that his side were unfortunate to be knocked out of the FA Cup on Saturday.

The Premier League outfit exited the tournament in round four with a 2-1 defeat at Championship Wigan Athletic.

"We're disappointed not to get something out of the game. We came to have a go and tried to win the game," Pulis told BBC Sport.

"When you play in cup ties, you need certain decisions to go your way. One or two decisions didn't go our way but that is what happens."

Palace defender Jonathan Parr was taken to hospital at half time after being knocked unconscious in a challenge with Wigan forward Callum McManaman.
