Patrick Bamford has admitted that he is looking to make headlines in his loan spell with Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old joined the Eagles until the end of the season from Chelsea after previous successful loan spells with Middlesbrough and MK Dons.
Bamford has revealed that he is hopeful that his performances catch the eye of Jose Mourinho back at Stamford Bridge, but also help Alan Pardew's men in his time at Selhurst Park.
"I was told, 'Make sure people read all about it'," Bamford told The Mirror. "If you are doing well then your name is always bandied about.
"If you don't play well, people don't watch the game but if you have scored your name flashes up, it doesn't matter how you've played.
"So as a striker that is what I've got to try to do – make sure I score – and if you're doing that you're also helping the team."
Palace face Aston Villa in the Premier League later today.
