Dagenham & Redbridge will look to keep their positive momentum in the National League this weekend, when they face Torquay United at the Chigwell Construction Stadium on Saturday.
The hosts come into this one following a draw with Gillingham in the FA Cup second round, while visitors Torquay enter the fray off the back of a draw with Gateshead.
Match preview
Dagenham & Redbridge have had a relatively decent 2022-23 campaign so far and occupy ninth place in the National League ranks heading into the Torquay match on Saturday.
Their home form has been excellent under manager Daryl McMahon, with the Daggers claiming 21 points from a possible 30 and only losing once at the Chigwell Construction Stadium in the league this season.
Last time out, a goal from Josh Walker was enough to secure a replay in the FA Cup second round as Dagenham secured a 1-1 draw with Gillingham at home.
Dagenham are unbeaten in their last six matches and will be confident of extending this run against a lowly Torquay outfit.
Should they manage to secure a win, the hosts could move into a playoff slot, depending on results elsewhere in the National League.
On the other hand, Torquay find themselves propping up the National League table having accumulated just 12 points from 19 matches completed.
Torquay are without a win in their last six matches in all competitions and need a massive improvement to avoid the impending threat of being cut adrift at the bottom of the table.
Nevertheless, Gary Johnson did manage to guide his side to a draw against Gateshead last Saturday, courtesy of an Aaron Jarvis strike which was cancelled out by Elliot Forbes on 74 minutes.
Torquay could move up to 17th with a shock win against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday, though they will face a stiff task against a difficult opponent.
Team News
Dagenham are unlikely to make too many changes from the FA Cup clash against Gillingham following a strong performance against Football League opposition.
Elliot Justham will maintain his place between the sticks, while their back three is expected to remain unchanged for the Torquay match.
George Saunders could come in for Omar Mussa in midfield, while Dean Rance is at risk of suspension if he picks up a booking during the fixture.
For the visitors, Ben Wyatt, Ross Marshall and Will Goodwin could all pick up a suspension if they receive a yellow card during proceedings. Aaron Jarvis and Dillon De Silva will be entrusted once again to provide the forward threat in a 4-4-2 system.
Lucas Ness and Scott Smith will no longer be available as they have been recalled from their loan spells by their parent clubs.
Dagenham & Redbridge possible starting lineup:
Justham; Hare, Onariase, Phipps; Weston, Saunders, Rance, Robinson, Sagaf; Walker, Morias
Torquay United possible starting lineup:

We say: Dagenham & Redbridge 2-0 Torquay United
In a match with consequences at both ends of the table, we expect a keenly-contested encounter that will produce opportunities for both sides.
On this occasion, the quality of Dagenham & Redbridge will prevail, enabling them to secure a comfortable victory which will help their playoff aspirations.
