England Under-21s boss Gareth Southgate has paid tribute to the attitude of Marcus Rashford after the striker scored a hat-trick on his debut against Norway Under-21s.
Rashford, who was part of the senior England squad that competed at Euro 2016, struck a treble as Southgate's side recorded a 6-1 victory in their Euro 2017 Under-21 Championship qualification match.
The Manchester United forward has been credited for showing "great humility" since dropping down to the Under-21s after Sam Allardyce left the 18-year-old out of the senior squad.
"I'm delighted for him. He came with great humility. He's young, so you hope that's going to be the case, but it's a complex journey if you've been up to the senior team and then come down. I think he's enjoyed the week," Southgate told FATV.
Rashford has now scored on his Premier League, Europa League, England and England Under-21 debuts.
