Jamie Carragher 'to be in dugout for England Under-17s game against Germany'

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher will reportedly be in the dugout for England Under-17s' match against Germany in Rotherham.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher will reportedly be in the dugout for this evening's match between England Under-17s and Germany Under-17s.

The 37-year-old, who currently works as a football pundit for Sky Sports, has had a three-day spell with the youngsters, who have also received guidance from ex-Manchester United centre-back Rio Ferdinand.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Carragher will sit alongside manager Steve Cooper and his coaching staff at Rotherham United's New York Stadium for tonight's match.

The retired footballer is also believed to have helped with training and squad sessions for the U17s on Tuesday.
