Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin says that he has offered Moise Kean advice about settling at Goodison Park since the Italian's arrival from Juventus in the summer.

Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin has said that he has offered Moise Kean advice about settling at Goodison Park since the Italian's arrival from Juventus in the summer.

Kean has managed one goal in 18 Premier League appearances this season, while Calvert-Lewin has scored 11 in 19 starts and established himself as first choice.

"It's funny, really, because I think about Moise and I can liken my situation in the team from when I first came in to his, the expectation of an Everton centre-forward," the 22-year-old said in an interview with the Liverpool Echo after Everton's 3-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

"He's still 19, so I try and put an arm around him when I can and just try and give him any advice I can whether that's on the pitch or off the pitch.

"The most important thing is to never stop believing in yourself because I believe that's what has got me here. There have been times when I could have crumbled under the pressure but I'm here today and I'm happy to have scored another goal."

Everton are currently seventh in the Premier League and sit five points adrift of Chelsea in fourth place.
