Everton captain Phil Jagielka has laughed off reports of fighting amongst the squad at Goodison Park.
The Toffees have lost their last four matches in the Premier League and currently reside in 13th place in the table, just four points clear of the relegation zone.
Reports speculated that there had been a fall-out between some of the members of the Everton squad, but Jagielka has insisted that those claims are ludicrous.
Jagielka told reporters: "It's quite amusing, you hear some weird stuff! I think the best one was that Leighton Baines had a fight with someone. I don't know if you know Bainesy or if you've seen him!
"Would he put the gloves on? I don't think he would. He's more a lover than a fighter."
Roberto Martinez's side face Manchester City in the Premier League at Goodison Park later today.
