Everton manager Roberto Martinez has claimed that Gerard Deulofeu has a "connection" with the supporters.
The Spaniard, who spent the 2013-14 season on loan at Goodison Park, signed a permanent deal with the Toffees from Barcelona in the summer.
It has been reported that Barcelona will trigger a buy-back clause at the end of the season, but Deulofeu has claimed that he wants to stay at Everton for "a lot of years".
In this morning's press conference, Martinez said: "We all know the incredible world-class talent Gerard Deulofeu has. He looks free and happy, and has a connection with the fans."
Meanwhile, Everton are preparing for this weekend's Premier League match against Bournemouth.
