Roberto Martinez undecided on whether to play Lacina Traore against Tottenham

Roberto Martinez says that he is undecided on whether to hand Lacina Traore his Everton debut against Tottenham Hotspur this Sunday.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that he is yet to decide on whether to play January signing Lacina Traore against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The 23-year-old joined the Merseyside outfit on loan until the end of the season from Monaco last month, but is yet to make his debut due to a hamstring injury.

"Lacina is progressing really well," Everton's Twitter page quotes Martinez as saying. "I need to check whether it's wise to use him Sunday.

"He is fully fit from a medical point of view. Lacina is really different to what we've got. He's stronger than I thought and has an incredible appetite for his Everton debut."

One point currently separates the Toffees and Tottenham in the Premier League table, with the clubs residing fifth and sixth respectively.
