Besiktas president Fikret Orman has revealed that Cenk Tosun will complete a move to Everton before the end of the week.
Tosun has been heavily linked with a move to the Merseyside giants over the past week, although it had been suggested that the Turkish club had upped their asking price.
However, with a fee of £27m said to have been agreed, Orman has said that he expects the transfer to be made official in the coming days.
Orman said: "Our interests and the players interests are important. Cenk wants to join Everton. We want to do our part and we are working on a replacement.
"The era of buy, buy, buy is over. This is the era of buy, add value and sell. A final deal has not been reached yet but we have an agreement over the price. The end is near. The transfer will be wrapped up by the weekend."
Striker Tosun has scored 12 goals in Turkey's top flight and the Champions League this season.
