Everton plot Xherdan Shaqiri loan move?

Everton are reportedly targeting Xherdan Shaqiri as a potential loan signing before the transfer window closes.

Everton have reportedly targeted Inter Milan winger Xherdan Shaqiri as a potential loan signing before the transfer window closes.

The Toffees are looking to bring in a couple more players on loan to strengthen their squad, with AC Milan's Keisuke Honda and River Plate midfielder Tomas Andrade also rumoured to be on Roberto Martinez's wish list.

Shaqiri has been linked with a host of clubs as the Italian outfit allegedly want to let the Swiss winger go out on loan, according to the Daily Star.

Stoke City came close to securing the former Bayern Munich man in a £12m deal earlier this summer, only for the move to fall through in the latter stages.
