Everton are reportedly ready to offer Ivorian striker Arouna Kone a new contract with the club.
The 31-year-old joined the Toffees for £6m in 2013 but he was restricted to just seven appearances last season after a series of knee problems.
However, the Ivorian has reportedly impressed Roberto Martinez with his recent performances and according to The Sun, they are willing to discuss a 12-month extension to his current deal which expires in June.
Kone has scored two goals and provided two assists in eight appearances for Everton this season in all competitions.
