Everton boss Roberto Martinez has revealed plans to utilise the loan market once again this summer in preparation for next season.
The Spaniard signed Romelu Lukaku, Gareth Barry and Gerard Deulofeu on a temporary basis last term, as the trio helped the Toffees to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League.
With a limited budget at his disposal, Martinez feels that loan signings are crucial to his goals on Merseyside and says that there will be more of the same for the 2014-15 campaign.
"The loan market will be important again," he told Everton's official website. "I have always felt loans are a real need in our squad, and we welcome that.
"You look back at the last experience we had with loans was very, very significant in what they brought into the squad. The loan market will always be important as a big part of our recruitment."
Everton will participate in next season's edition of the Europa League as a result of their exploits last term.
